Incontrol Expands Its Portfolio with EOS Inspections
New: Incontrol launches inspection software for energy storage systems (EOS). With this extension, electrical inspection companies can digitally inspect, report and track the repair process of battery and battery systems. From inspection plan to proven recovery, in one platform.
A growing market calls for a safety standard
Energy storage systems are being deployed more and more alongside solar panels, as backup power for business-critical processes, and for peak load storage in industry and logistics. Think of the distribution centre that buffers energy to reduce peak demand, the hospital with emergency power storage for critical equipment, or the supermarket storing solar energy for its refrigeration systems.
An EOS is not a passive system. It continuously charges and discharges based on external signals. That makes it active, complex, and susceptible to risk. Fire caused by short circuits or overheating are real dangers without periodic safety oversight. PGS 37-1 was established in December 2023 and the regulatory framework around EOS is evolving. Insurers are already imposing stricter safety requirements on companies that use energy storage systems.

What the EOS module offers inspectors
With the new EOS module in Incontrol, inspectors can get started right away. All forms are ready to use and prepared in accordance with NEN 1010, NEN 4288 and PGS 37-1.
In practical terms, this means inspectors can:
- Get started immediately with a ready-to-use inspection plan, inspection report and re-inspection report
- Follow step-by-step guidance through all standard requirements in accordance with NEN 1010 and NEN 4288
- Record findings and photos directly in the app, even offline
- Automatically forward deviations to Incontrol.FIX
- Deliver professional reports in their own house style, digitally signed and sent immediately
The integration with Incontrol.FIX ensures that the remediation process connects seamlessly to the inspection. The contractor sees immediately which tasks are open and registers completion in Incontrol.FIX. After remediation, a re-inspection follows in which the original and new measurements are presented side by side. Remediation is immediately verifiable for clients, insurers and supervisory authorities.

Expanding a proven inspection platform
With the addition of EOS, Incontrol further expands its portfolio alongside Scope 8, Scope 10, Scope 12, NEN 1010, NEN 3140 en ATEX. Inspectors already working with Incontrol will immediately recognise the structure. No new system. No searching for information. The same familiar flow, now also for energy storage systems.
