Scope 2 software
As a SCIOS-certified (or aspiring) inspector, you conduct Scope 2 inspections to assess the safety and operation of gas-fired combustion appliances. Since manufacturer instructions and standard norms do not always provide sufficient guidance for a uniform assessment, the SCIOS Scope 2 inspection process has been developed as a reliable and widely accepted methodology.

Scope 2 inspection plan
The SCIOS Scope 2 inspection consists of a defined inspection plan, which serves as a guideline for conducting the inspection. While each installation and situation is unique, the plan provides standardized frameworks that make the execution and content of the inspection objective and reliable.
With our ready-to-use Scope 2 inspection plan, both you and your client will know exactly what to expect from the inspection in advance. Once you have completed the inspection plan, you can easily import the data into the inspection report. This saves time as you only need to enter the data once, contributing to a more efficient and faster workflow.
Scope 2 inspection report
After your client approves the inspection plan, you begin the Scope 2 inspection. During the inspection, you check the combustion condition of the appliance, assess the supply of combustion air and the exhaust of flue gases, and measure parameters such as O₂ and CO levels. Any identified deviations, defects, and risks are classified according to the IB22 classification established by the SCIOS Foundation.

Scope 2 remediation report
During the Scope 2 inspection, you prepare a report with your findings. In this report, you indicate which aspects of the gas appliance or installation do not meet the requirements, such as based on flue gas measurements, combustion parameters, or safety requirements. These issues must be corrected by an installer. After the corrective work, a reinspection takes place to verify that the deviations have been properly addressed.
