Croonwolter&dros: Safety and efficiency with Incontrol

Croonwolter&dros (part of TBI) is one of the largest specialists in the Netherlands in the field of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automation and computerisation. Survey and Inspection (CSI) plays a key role within this organisation. CSI carries out independent safety inspections on electrical installations and helps organisations identify risks at an early stage.

In order to continue to carry out this work efficiently and safely, CSI was looking for new inspection software that is not only user-friendly, but also complies with the strictest standards for data security, such as ISO 27001 and the European NIS2 directive.

“We wanted a future-proof solution that would enable us to work faster, more accurately and more securely.” explains Martin Adriaanse, operational manager at CSI.

 

The reason

On the advice of one of the inspectors, CSI came into contact with Incontrol, developed by Maxdoro. After an extensive comparison, Incontrol proved to be the ideal partner: the software not only offered the desired functionality, but also demonstrably met the high requirements in the field of information security.

Frister van der Ven, project manager at CSI, explains:

“We chose Incontrol for several reasons. It makes our work more efficient, our inspectors were immediately positive during the pilot, and we are working closely with the Incontrol team on further development, particularly in the area of data security.”

The solution

The inspectors now use Incontrol in the field on a daily basis. With the help of pre-designed templates for Scope 8, Scope 10, Scope 12, NEN1010, NEN3140 and ATEX inspections, among others, they can report quickly and accurately.

“The standard templates ensure that inspectors can focus fully on their work,‘ says Frister. ’Everything is clear, complete and always up to date thanks to Incontrol's central updates.”

This digital working method ensures faster turnaround times, error-free reports and a professional image for clients.

Safety guaranteed

The decision to choose Incontrol was also a conscious one for the IT department.
Erwin Boudestijn, ICT information manager at Croonwolter&dros, explains:

“Information security is high on our agenda. We are ISO 27001 certified and work in accordance with NIS2. We expect the same high standards from our suppliers. With Incontrol, we have found that – it goes beyond a checklist; it is about trust and transparency.”

After an intensive process, CSI concluded that Incontrol demonstrably meets all the security requirements.
