Incontrol.FIX has now been up and running for over two months and during that time we have received valuable feedback from our users. These insights have helped us to further optimize the platform so that it connects even better to the daily practice of inspectors and installers. The release launched today, [FIX 1.9], therefore contains several improvements, including a revision of the recovery procedure and, of course, the usual bugs fixed.

New step in the approval process

Previously, after completing repair work, the installer had the ability to independently mark the relevant defect as 'resolved' in FIX – without the involvement of an inspector. This process has now been adjusted.

With the introduction of the new release, an additional control layer has been added to the process. The installer can still indicate that a defect has been resolved by marking it as 'resolved', but this now must be confirmed by the responsible inspector. Only after their approval is the notification considered definitively closed (finding closed).

In the following screencast, we demonstrate how this new process works in practice.
